Compare the work, not just the price.
Put up to three repair quotes side by side. Check the scope, exclusions and totals before deciding what to ask next.
Enter the final payable total and the work included. Leave unknown amounts blank; enter 0 only when the quote explicitly says zero.
How totals and GST are checked
Enter line items exactly as quoted and select their GST basis. We can check the arithmetic when all three line-item amounts and the GST basis are known. The quoted total should be the final amount payable.
This tool cannot verify licensing, workmanship, legal terms or whether a price is fair.

A worked example
Illustrative arithmetic only: labour $200 + materials $50 + other charges $0 = $250. If those items exclude GST and 10% GST applies, the final total is $275. A lower quote may exclude work that the other quote includes.
Before accepting a quote
- Confirm the work and materials included, plus access and disposal.
- Ask about call-out, travel and after-hours charges.
- Agree how unexpected work and price changes will be approved.
- Check the relevant licence, availability and warranty details directly.
